FOOD PANTRY
…is open to the public one Thursday a month. We serve Seniors (age 62 & above) from 4-6pm and all others from 6-7pm. The next dates are:
March 8 April 12 May 10
If you’d like to donate food, drop items in the food bins located in Faith’s Gallery hallway between KidzTown and the Main Foyer. Serving 300+ families a month means there is often great need. Here is a list of items we need all the time: Peanut Butter, Rice & Pasta, Boxed Dinners (hamburger helper, tuna helper, etc.), Canned Vegetables, Instant Potatoes.
Faith’s Food Pantry engages our community by meeting essential needs and sharing the hope of Jesus. If you’d like to volunteer behind the scenes, sorting and bagging food or to take part in many of the face-to-face opportunities, distributing food, click button:
GOOD NEWS CLUBS
…meets Tuesdays at Youngsville Elementary School from 2:45-4:30pm in the school’s gym. It begins and ends with small group time where children learn Bible verses, hear Bible stories, do fun activities, and enjoy a snack. Leaders get to know the kids, receive prayer requests, and share Jesus’ love. In between, all come together (grades K-5th) for a large group worship time full of music & a weekly Bible story focus.
Good News Clubs are a branch of Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF). The Good News Club at Youngsville Elementary is sponsored by Faith Baptist Church.
Youngsville Elementary is on a year-round schedule and tracks out every 9 weeks. Here are the club dates for the 2011-2012 school year:
Sept. 6, 13, 20; Oct. 18, 25; Nov. 1, 8, 15, 22, 29; Dec. 6, 13, 20; Jan. 10, 17, 24, 31; Feb. 7, 14, 21, 28; Mar. 6, 13, 20; Apr. 17, 24; May 1, 8.

LOVE OUR SCHOOLS
This annual backpack drive collects backpacks and school supplies for kids and teachers in our community (primarily Youngsville and Franklinton area schools).
It is usually held the second week of August to take advantage of tax-free weekend.
