Quebec: In 2011, Faith began a partnership to work alongside, support and plant new churches among the Quebecois people. The more than 7 million French speaking Quebecois are the least evangelized group of people in North America (less than .5%). Faith is committed to sending short-term teams to assist local church planters and missionaries as well as raising up long-term (3 months – lifetime) missionaries to give their life to these people for the sake of them coming to know Jesus.
Good News In Action: In 2008, Faith began to send short-term teams to help in the “0/20 Metro America Project.” This project aims to start new healthy evangelical churches in most of the metropolitan areas in Central America. Teams from Faith have been a part of starting and supporting new churches in El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Guatemala. These are wonderful trips for those who have never been on a mission trip to go and get a feel for what church planting and missions looks like.
Mission trips can be wonderful times of learning and growing in your faith. These can be times when God may guide, direct or challenge you in ways that you never expected. In addition, many of these trips can be taken for credit through SEBTS. For a list of upcoming trips, please click HERE.
