MONDAY

Precept Upon Precept

Monday evenings: 7:00-9:00 pm, Room 2125 – Beginning on Sept. 10

Are you longing for a deeper, inductive study of God’s Word?

Join us this year as we embark on a study of the book of Daniel: Living Out A Biblical Worldview – Pt 1 Chapters 1-6. As we have for the past several years, only half of the homework, rather than a full week’s homework, will be assigned each week to give us the time to really enjoy what God is teaching us.

Community Bible Study

9:30-11:30 am, meets in The Worship Center – Sept. – May
CBS is not a direct ministry of FBC but a Bible Study we offer on our campus and greatly encourage. Each week’s study involves worship, small group discussion, homework questions, and a teaching time on the passage. This year, the study is on the book of Acts with leading from the Teaching Director, Laura Pope, a FBC member. The children’s department teaches the Bible to children from 18 m – high school. Younger than 18 mo receive Jesus’ loving care through our trained children’s staff. Spots for children are limited.

HEART2HOME

Heart2Home is a ladies small group ministry made up of women from different seasons of life who commit to learn from God’s Word together and share a meal as hospitality is modeled in a host home.  Begins September 9th, 2018.  (SEE FLYER ABOVE)

Individual groups meet monthly on a night convenient for them.  Group time is typically 2 hours.

A Heart Hostess is a woman who, having walked through some seasons of life, understands the value of passing on a legacy of faith and fellowship and encouraging younger women.  A Hostess may choose to serve in one or more ways:  opening her home, sharing Biblical truth in a devotional,  facilitating discussion, being the group contact person, or preparing/organizing the meal.

Interested in being a Hostess for the 2018-2019 Heart2Home Season?

  • Hostess training will take place on August 15th and August 29thAttendance for one of these two dates is required.
  • Reveal Night will take place on Sunday, September 9th.  Group assignments will be revealed, as we get to know one another and lay a foundation for another great year!

A Heart Friend is a younger woman, single or married, with or without children.  Younger women are guests of honor when their Heart Group gathers – no food to fix, no home to clean – an opportunity to relax and be pampered!

Both Heart Hostesses & Heart Friends commit to being a part of a Heart Group with 10-12 women for 9 months.
