Welcome to Faith!

Maybe you’re looking for a great place to get your kids plugged in. Maybe you want to be a part of something bigger than yourself. Or if you’re just looking for a caring place to belong…at Faith you’re going to find people just like you. Here there are people that are looking for answers, looking for understanding—people who aren’t perfect, but who have encountered a radical, powerful, and personal Savior Who wants us to grow in a deepening relationship with Him and to take His gospel to a world that’s hurting and in need of forgiveness and healing and hope. That’s why, as a Church, we have set out to Connect to the Church, Grow in God’s Word, and Engage the World for Christ. We’ve created many opportunities to train and equip people of all ages to carry out this vision. If you want to know where to start, we recommend not only coming to a Sunday Morning Worship Service, but getting connected to a small group as quick as you can. That’s where relationships and Bible Study come together. We apply the truth of God’s Word to our lives and He changes the way we see life and the way we live it out!

The way it works is that each Sunday, we encourage everyone to attend worship service one ‘hour’, to belong to a Sunday School Group one ‘hour’, and to then make themselves available to serve in some capacity. Also, you can find ways to get connect further on Wednesday Nights, and with other folks just like you in specific ministries geared towards Women, Men, and Young Adults!

Sunday Mornings

…the Church gathers at 8:00, 9:30, & 11:00am for worship. Adult groups and children’s KidzTown classes meet all three ‘hours’. Middle and High School Student groups meet at 9:30 & 11:00am.

Christian Missions   Room 2141 | Free

What does the Bible say about God’s plan for the nations?  How does Christianity compare with other religions?  What does it look like to take the gospel into other cultures?  This class seeks to answer these questions while exploring what the Church’s role is in taking the gospel to the nations.  This class is available for credit through Southeastern College and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Faith in the Work Place   Room 2123 | Free

…will equip Christians to more effectively live their faith where they spend nearly 60% of their waking hours and where they encounter a majority of lost people.  It is estimated that over 50% of people in the workplace are un-churched and probably not saved.  The way believers work and conduct themselves around co-workers play s a large role in how those people perceive God, Scripture, and the claims of faith.  Live out your faith and exert your God-given influence for the world to see, to know, and to follow Him.

Marriage/Parenting    Room 3204/05 | Free

The first six weeks of this class will focus on how we can honor God in our marriages.  Learn what God designed marriage to look like and how to apply the truth of the gospel to your marriage.  The second half of this class will focus on parenting and will address the question of “how do we raise our kids to be on mission for Christ?”

Prayer    Room 2142

Led by Pastor Richard, this study combines Bible study, exploring what the Bible teaches about prayer, and a focused and extended time of prayer.  Come be challenged by the Word, hear our pastor’s passion to see us become a people of prayer, and pray to see God glorified.

Anointed, Transformed, Redeemed ~ Beth Moore, Priscilla Shirer & Kay Arthur | Room TBD | Cost of book 

These three women explored their lives and the life of David in this women’s Bible study. Taped at the 2007 Deeper Still women’s event, the messages presented by these beloved authors are divided into three segments, two lessons from each author. Each segment focuses on the life of David at a different stage of his life: as a young man (sessions one and two by Priscilla Shirer), as a middle-aged man (sessions three and four by Beth Moore), and as a man facing the final third of his life (sessions five and six by Kay Arthur). You’ll laugh with them, cry with them, and learn to love God with them..
