Youth
Welcome to the Refinery!
If you’re in High School or Middle School, we’re glad you’re here! You can be an important part of Faith’s vision to connect to the church, grow in God’s Word, and engage the world for Christ. Not only can you hang out with friends your age and get to know other people that are just like you, but you can also worship God and understand more and more how much He loves you and wants to use you to show other people His love.
Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights, youth involved in Faith’s Student ministry interact with each other in Bible study, serve in many different ways throughout the church, and stand as an example of what living for God looks like in everyday life. Parents, our goal is to partner with you because we believe you are the primary leaders and influencers in your young person’s life. We encourage each youth to be fully invested in our church through worship, fellowship, and service. In addition to church-wide opportunities, we’ve specifically designed times and environments for youth to help reinforce biblical beliefs and values as well as godly living. We’re praying for you and are looking forward to working alongside you and your family!

Wednesdays
On Wednesdays, students meet in the Refinery. We are led by our Youth Praise Band as we worship the Lord through song, we pray, and we get a few announcements, then the Middle School students are dismissed to the KidzTown gym for Bible Study. The High School students stay in the Refinery for their Bible Study.
Here’s what that looks like:
6:00 – 6:45 get here and hang out (doors open)
6:45 – 7:00 – worship, prayer and stuff you need to know (announcements)
7:05 – 8:10 – the good stuff (Bible study)
One exciting exception: Every “first Wednesday” of the month, we join with all of Faith in the main Worship Center from 6:30pm-8:00pm for a time to do the very same things (generally speaking) we do in the Refinery on the other Wednesdays. We get to study, praise, pray and have a great time with the rest of our church! On these “First Wednesday Worship” services, we invite all youth to sit at the front, in the center as a group. We look forward to seeing you all there.
Youth Band
Open to anyone High School and Middle School age, this band leads the youth in worship on Wednesday Nights and leads the entire Body during select Wednesday Night Worship Services. Rehearsals are Sunday afternoons. Members of the Faith Worship Team Band oversee rehearsals and are available to assist in ongoing ministry.
