Did you know that making a book by hand does not require any special tools or skills?
In this workshop we will be taking ordinary lunch bags and turning them into gift-worthy, charming books that are crafted to be used and enjoyed.
The theme of the book we will be making is "Blessed Assurance".
Together with the supplies you bring and the patterns that will be supplied to you, we will walk through the steps of creating this book, giving you the skills to create further books that may be used as journals, photo albums, memory keepers, even recipe books!
The workshop will begin at 9 AM in room 214 and we will be working step by step to make the cover and to bind the book. You will then be free to work at your own pace. Please know that you will not finish the book during the workshop. However, you will have a good, solid start armed with ideas and able to finish at home.
Please be sure to bring your own lunch as well as the supplies listed in the attachment below. The supplies are also listed in the confirmation email that you will receive after filling out this form.
