The National Day of Prayer, created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman, is observed annually on the first Thursday of May. Our gathering will include music, a brief message, and focused prayers for our military, the media, federal and local elected officials, businesses, schools, churches and families.
Faith Youngsville will be hosting a National Day of Prayer event in the grass lot beside Youngsville Town Hall starting at 12 PM on May 2. Parking will be at Luddy Park and the National Armory.
Additionally, Faith will prayer walk from the east side of our parking lot (near the community playground) starting at 11:30 AM.
